Hello my lovelies, I hope you all had a good weekend! We had a fairly relaxing couple of days, enjoying The World Series, sipping on hot spiced cider (judiciously spiked with bourbon), and continuing to batten-down the proverbial hatches for winter. It seems that this weekend was also the de facto Halloween, certainly for the adults. I’m curious to see if we get any trick-or-treaters on Wednesday. I certainly hope so!

Last night we thoroughly enjoyed Wes Anderson‘s newest film, Moonrise Kingdom, which amongst other nostalgic memories, revived my adoration of Francois Hardy.

With a stellar cast, and visuals that are a marvel of Andersonian perfection, the film is an absolute delight. The film also offers several killer costume possibilities, if you’re still looking:
