Our Home: Part I

Our Home: Part I

September 26th, 2012 1 Comment

Though I still feel like we’re moving in, nesting in the corners, and making things our own, I thought I’d show you around the house a bit today. This is our lovely downstairs, minus the kitchen which I’m sure you’ve seen enough of here and here.

Ah yes, did I mention we have spiders chez nous? Many, many spiders. Which are now thinking it’s lovely and warm inside the house. Just one of the many joys of owning an older home.

In case you thought I was being hyperbolic…

Italian plums from one of the trees in our yard. Delicious.

The pantry door. Terribly interesting I know, but the inside isn’t ready for prime time.

The breakfast nook. Again, my favorite room in the house and currently serving as my office.

Wallpaper and chandelier details are from the diningroom. That wallpaper, incidentally, is on death-row.

A peek from one entryway to the other, through the diningroom.

I hope you are all enjoying a lovely week! More to come!
