Hello darlings! Here is Part 2 of our wedding. This includes a few moments of anticipation and anxiety pre-ceremony, our First Look, the ceremony (complete with weird, trying-not-to-cry faces), and a selection of formals largely for the benefit of my family. As you peruse the images, you’ll see music interspersed for your listening pleasure, placed at the time it was played during our wedding.

For those of you wondering about the Fist Look debate, for us it was such a special moment to see each other before the ceremony. It was intimate, calming, and so exciting. It was lovely to quietly revel in mutual anticipation, to admire the details of our respective finery. In no way did it detract from the first time our eyes locked together as I walked down the aisle. That moment, as you may notice for the photos, was still as incredibly emotional and poignant as could be.
When making an entrance, it helps to have the most adorable flower girls of all time. And Etta James.
Nearly lost it entirely while listening to Jacob’s beautiful, self-written vows.
I was handed a tissue after barely getting through the vows I’d written for Jacob and, much to the merriment of all assembled, used it to first dab the sweat from his brow. I didn’t think about it at all, it just seemed the thing to do.
This part truly felt like we were in a movie, thanks to the swelling notes of Sigur Ros.
As previously mentioned, these formals are primarily for our family and the wedding party members; many of the rest of you may find them snoozingly boring.
…to be concluded in Part 3!
