Our Engagement Photos

October 16th, 2012

I am so happy to be able to share photos from our engagement session with the immensely talented Seattle photographer, Andria Lindqust. Andria was such a great sport, flying up to San Juan and spending an entire day romping around our favorite haunts, all the while double-fisting a couple of impressive Cannons and crowing with glee. We are so lucky to have found her and we’re so excited for her to shoot our wedding next summer! I must also note, of course, how lucky I am to have found Jacob: my love, my best friend, the person with whom I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life.

Hope you enjoy! And don’t forget you can click on an image to enlarge it…

San Juan Island

You see, the San Juan Islands are flung along the northern most part of the Washington coast in a haphazard jumble, making a straight shot from the mainland to San Juan Island itself impossible. Thankfully, if you’re local.

The long ride is beautiful even to my jaded eye. Once I’ve forgiven the 2 hour wait in … Continue reading

San Juan Weekend

Returning from a three day weekend away is always a bit of a jolt. Particularly when that weekend was spent on sleepy San Juan Island, and more so still when it was blessed with the kind glorious summer days that only the Pacific Northwest can produce. Such was our weekend. It was intoxicatingly sun-filled. It was wonderfully restful. It was crabbing in the bay. It was barbecue, gardens, horseshoes, and family.

I hope all of you had a similarly wonderful few days, and those of you in the Seattle area have been enjoying the sunshine! I have dozens of photos to share with you this week so don’t wander far. But for now, a full inbox and a full work day are clamoring for my attention. In the meantime, here is a fun little ditty to put a smile on your face this Monday morning. Kiss kiss!
